Biography:
I originally trained in Contemporary Dance and specialised in Contact Improvisation, which I taught for several years in London during the 1990s. After having explored various mind-body and movement approaches including Body-Mind Centering, Gabrielle Roth's 5 Rhythms, Pilates, Alexander Technique and Skinner Releasing, I focussed on the Feldenkrais Method and qualified as a practitioner in 2002. Over the next few years I taught the Feldenkrais Method, Dance Improvisation and Dancer's Anatomy & Health in Adult Education and Higher Education institutions. I moved to North East Scotland in 2005 where I had a private practice teaching Feldenkrais. In 2014 I re-located to Frome in Somerset. As well as running my private practice I am an Associate Lecturer at Bath Spa University teaching movement skills for actors on the BA Acting degree.
