Practice:

I see people of all ages and occupations including those who have had strokes and the elderly suffering with general stiffness. I can also help with breathing and back issues. Many musicians find that the Feldenkrais Method makes their professional lives more comfortable.

Biography:

I have spent many years as a professional flute and piccolo player in the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, the B.B.C Symphony orchestra and freelanced with all the major London symphony orchestras. I teach in various Conservatoires and have become aware of tensions in the body inhibiting the potential technical and musical achievement. It is obvious that attention paid to the whole body has tremendous results. Since my training in Biel (completed 2005), I have used the principles of Feldenkrais to free up the playing of many musicians. Further, I taught a course in the Feldenkrais Method for ten years at the Irish Academy Dublin. I have also been able to use the method to help non musicians towards better use of themselves.
