Practice:
My practice is based in Edinburgh and, on a monthly basis in Ipswich. I have recently re-located my base to Edinburgh, but travel regularly.

I have worked with actors, dancers, musicians as well as people living with stroke, spinal and head injury, Parkinsons and cerebral. I have also worked with children, horse- riders, nurses, expectant mothers short of breath, grandmothers who have put their backs out playing with their grandchildren, martial artists, sportspeople – in short anyone for whom freedom of movement is central to the fulfillment of the things they really want to do.

I have a long experience of using movement as a creative resource. I first encountered Feldenkrais as part of my training at Mime/Theatre School in Paris and ever since it has guided the creative explorations I have made.

In recent years I have worked with school students in using movement-based creativity and somatic learning as a source of support for learning in such diverse areas as literacy, science and technology, and communication in children with severe learning difficulties. The lens of Feldenkrais allows the development of creative and specific learning environments that are non-judgemental and based on inquiry and discovery.
