Practice:
I have been building my practice in Yorkshire since relocating from London in 2005, working with a wide variety of people including dancers, children with disabilities and yoga students & teachers. The majority of people I see are simply looking to improve their comfort in day to day life.

Biography:
I have worked as a dance artist, performing and teaching in a variety of educational and community settings for the last 16 years. In 1996 I became lecturer in Dance at the University of Derby where I taught on the undergraduate programme for six years. In 1997 I cofounded Wild Ducks with Mieke Chill, an organisation which provided movement and dance opportunities for young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities.

Following my initial training in contemporary dance, I came across alternative approaches to working with movement and the body which really intrigued me and felt very satisfying; firstly the Alexander Technique and then Feldenkrais. It was after a series of individual Feldenkrais lessons, having done Awareness Through Movement (group classes) for a few years, that I became truly hooked and decided to do the professional training.

I completed the Amsterdam International Feldenkrais Training (AIFT) in October 2002 and since moving to Yorkshire in 2005 I have taught at Northern School for Contemporary Dance alongside developing my Feldenkrais practice.
