Practice:

My practice focuses on Creative Wellbeing, exploring where delicate body sense and simple creativity meet. I help people improve their movement skills, alleviate pain and address chronic and life-destroying conditions, both in their mental and physical health.

My clients are artists, writers, performers, entrepreneurs, employers and people looking to find freedom in their movement and ignite the creative spark in their lives. My approach is gentle, warm and inclusive; stories, vivid imagery and humour may be included! I am a student of Somatic Experiencing and my practice is trauma-informed. I have worked with people both individually and in groups using movement to find more comfortable and creative ways to live since 2005. I offer weekly class series, Sunday workshops, sessions in corporate & educational settings and 1:1.

Biography:

I have been facilitating Feldenkrais Method workshops since 2005, working with the general public and in theatre, drama and art schools & universities with all ages and abilities. I came to Feldenkrais through performance work. It was transformational for me, healing injury and exponentially expanding my creative pathways.

I don't play by the rules; I rewire them - in performance, writing, teaching and play. My fearless spirit and sensitivity to the strain in the status quo lead my fungal fingers to feel the places that need to change. With a heart for ritual inside a body of science, I explore the intricate nuances of Feldenkrais and creative practice, uncovering insights & practices that work.

I am fully insured by Balens Ltd and a member of FGUK and People Dancing. I sit on the EUROTAB Feldenkrais training & trainer accreditation board. My PhD (2018) explored Feldenkrais and material performance.
