Practice:

Lou teaches a regular public Feldenkrais schedule, including individual sessions and online group classes. Her practice is lively and includes people of all abilities, access needs, ages and backgrounds.

In her individual, hands-on sessions she work with a diversity of people, from students, to young professionals and Monday-Friday workers, to senior citizens. Lou has worked extensively with wheelchair dancers and artists with access requirements.

With an extensive background of working with children and adults identifying as autistic or with complex disabilities, Lou works with children, teenagers and young adults and is extremely keen for Feldenkrais for these specific groups.

'Supporting the Supporters' are discounted in person sessions and work online Lou offers to the adults (carers, parents, teachers, physios) who live and/or work with the children she works with.

Feldenkrais unites parts of the self to organise for better everyday functionality.

Biography:

Lou's background includes family support, care work and working with the UK and international dance and theatre sectors. Between 2018-2020 Lou co-ran Movement My First Language, an international project for adults who live or work with children with special needs. The project was delivered online and in person by Feldenkrais Practitioners for adults to build confidence in using movement as a means of empowering children's learning.
