The challenges and interests of my students vary in their complexity and grading. I value my work experience with people diagnosed with CP and MS. I have worked with individuals recovering after Stroke and feel particularly inclined to work with people whose movement abilities are affected as a result of neurological condition. I`m currently involved with a charity called the "Disability Initiative", where a see many on individual basis. All lessons for children are discounted and I see the little ones with priority.

Biography:

Nadia studied Journalism in Sofia University and was a competitive swimmer until the age on 15. As a result of an injury she lived the next 10 years with the feeling that despite being strong, very active and mobile she strains and does not know how to take good care of her body to prevent age related wear and tear. That led her to join a professional Feldenkrais Method training in London and after 4 years of training she graduated as a Feldenkrais practitioner. Since then she has been teaching group classes and one-to-one lessons first in London and now in Surrey and Hampshire.

Nadia works with a wide range of people from many who are looking for solutions to pain- to many who are interested in finding ways to more skilful movement in sports and arts. She is particularly inclined to work with people diagnosed with neurological dysfunctions – such as MS, CP, dystonia and recovery after Stroke. Nadia's ideas of improvement echo the principles of the Feldenkrais method and the focus of her work is not only on helping to move beyond pain and restore function, but equally on education how to avoid similar discomfort in the future. She can help you learn how to reduce stress related levels of excitation and boost your vitality. Nadia can help you change habituated developmental patterns and successfully take you to the level of skill you have in mind.
