Practice:

Originally from New Zealand, I am now based in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire. As a Feldenkrais practitioner my intention is to offer a context for personal learning and development that supports and enables participants to explore, (re)discover, expand, and/or refine their innate capacity for movement; to do the activities they love or want to do; and/or to live life more fully.

With gentleness, attentiveness, and playful curiosity unimaginable possibilities exist for each of us to learn and develop using movement as a playground for self-discovery; as a mirror of our self-expression in the world; and as a medium through which to connect more fully with the power and potency of our being. These possibilities are available to each of us, if we so choose, whether we come to the Feldenkrais method seeking 1) relaxation;2) to engage more fully with our sense of potential;3) to meet a specific challenge such as adjusting to changing life circumstances, and/or recovering from injury and illness;4) to improve our performance in a specific activity/setting e.g. at work, in a sport, or a performing art.

Biography:

In addition to working as a Feldenkrais practitioner, I am actively involved in the study, practice and teaching of meditation and Shambhala Buddhism; organic gardening, biodynamics and permaculture; bee-keeping; community involvement and social action; and travel.
